FAQ Regency Way Montevideo Hotel

Regency Way Montevideo is located at 3377 General Fructuoso Rivera Avenue and Julio César St, 5 minutes from the most important financial plaza and the first shopping center of Montevideo, a few blocks away from the promenade and beaches of Pocitos and close to the restaurants and nightclubs of the Puerto del Buceo neighborhood.

Check-in time in the room is from 2:00 p.m. onwards. Check-out time is until 11:00 a.m. the following day. These are the usual times, which may be subject to change in the case of a guest with a special dayuse stay. In this situation, it will depend on the number of hours booked.

If you have made a reservation with a rate that includes the possibility of check in and/or extended check out for free, you must request it at the time of your arrival at the hotel and it will be subject to availability. In case you require an early check in, we recommend you to communicate it prior to check in, although it will be subject to availability, we will be able to assign the room giving priority to your request. In case your rate does not include this possibility and you wish to check in or check out outside the regular hours, you may hire it with an additional charge subject to reservation and availability.

If you must wait a few additional hours before leaving the hotel, you may continue to use the facilities by contacting the front desk, where your luggage will be kept in custody. If you wish an extended use of the hotel amenities you can request a dayuse service for an additional charge.

Regency Way Montevideo Hotel accepts credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) as well as bank transfers. In case of need you should request the account number for the transfer by e-mail reservas@regency.com.uy

To make the reservation you must provide a credit card as a guarantee, which will not be charged if it is a rate with a free cancellation policy up to 24 hours prior to the check-in date. This will depend on the type of rate. If it is a non-refundable rate, payment must be made at the time of booking.

When it is a non-refundable rate, no changes or cancellations can be made. In cancellation policy enabled (flexible), if you cancel less than 48 hrs prior to arrival date or no show, the hotel will charge the amount corresponding to one (1) night of accommodation in the type of room booked.
For stays longer than 20 days, if you cancel less than 5 days prior to the arrival date or no-show, the hotel will charge the amount corresponding to two (2) nights of accommodation in the type of room reserved.

From November 15 until Easter, guests with Uruguayan identity card and/or passport must pay 10% VAT.

If you have dietary restrictions due to health issues, please contact the hotel so that your specific requirements can be taken into account and your breakfast will have the appropriate options.

The crib has no additional cost and it is possible to add it. Accommodation for 1 child is free of charge up to 12 years old in Deluxe double. In Junior and Executive up to 5 years old sharing furniture (double bed or 2 separate beds).

The hotel is Pet Friendly. Pets are allowed to stay with an additional charge, but are not allowed in the restaurant, gym or swimming pool and must always remain under the responsibility of their owner.

No, some rooms have a bathtub.

Some types of rooms have a bathtub. We recommend that if you require a room with bathtub, please indicate it at the time of booking.

The hotel does not have a sauna, but it does have a complete gymnasium, an outdoor swimming pool, a pleasant interior plaza with a green wall and waterfalls, and spacious, bright and enjoyable interior spaces.

The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool with lounge chairs and a pleasant barbecue area.

Regency Way has a very large 90-space parking lot, for an additional charge and subject to availability.

We recommend walks through the area to the Puerto de Buceo or Pocitos promenade and beach, gastronomic and shopping outings or just to listen to music and have a drink in the local nightclubs, it is also possible to enjoy a delicious lunch, dinner or snack at the Restaurant and Café located in our hotel, relax and rest in the indoor square or by the pool or in the spacious public areas of the hotel and work out in our fully equipped gym.

The hotel has some bicycles available for loan subject to availability. If more units are required, the hotel will facilitate the coordination of rentals with local suppliers.
